Terms of Service – Light the Season
Effective Date: August 25, 2025

By booking services with Light the Season, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services
We provide seasonal Christmas light installation, maintenance, and removal.
Services are subject to availability and weather conditions.

2. Estimates & Payments
All estimates are based on property size, complexity, and materials.
A deposit may be required at booking. Remaining balance is due upon completion.
Accepted payment methods: cash, check, credit/debit card, and ACH/online invoice.
Late payments may incur fees.

3. Customer Responsibilities
Ensure property is accessible on installation/removal dates.
Clear areas of pets, vehicles, or obstacles.
Provide working outdoor electrical outlets.

4. Safety & Liability
We are not responsible for damage caused by faulty wiring, poor roof conditions, or pre-existing issues.
Customers assume responsibility for providing safe roof/access conditions.
Light the Season is insured; however, liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

5. Installation & Removal
Installations are seasonal. Unless otherwise agreed, lights will be removed after the holiday season.
Customers must schedule removal within the agreed timeframe.

6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 7 days before service receive a full refund of deposit.
Cancellations within 7 days of service may result in forfeiture of deposit.
Refunds are not available after installation is complete.

7. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, and promotional materials belong to Light the Season.

8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
